AirLink Outdoor utilizes a 2.4 GHz Self-Healing Mesh Network that provides access both on-site and remotely. The flexibility and scalability of the system make it perfect for both new construction and retrofit projects. The user-friendly AirLink Outdoor web application is accessible through any device with an internet connection and allows for complete customization of the system and its features.

Concept
AirLink Synapse utilizes a site manager that creates a mesh network between all of the fixtures with Synapse controls. This is made possible with the AirLink Site Manager that utilizes a cellular internet connection to access the site controls on site or remotely.
Capacity
Our minds subconsciously relate darkness to fear and uncertainty of the unseen. For outdoor applications, many will judge a site’s safety on its lighting, and AirLink Synapse assures you that your patrons feel safe. Some capabilities of the system include occupancy/vacancy sensing, daylight harvesting, scheduling, high-end trim, dimming, zone control, BMS integration and energy monitoring. Many of the AirLink Synapse sensors can be ordered with LSI fixtures to be integrated during manufacturing.
Sports
Many sports and recreational faculties choose to integrate AirLink Synapse into the LSI ZONE Sports Lighting. With Synapse, facility managers not only get the dynamic control option, for applications like the one seen here, but they also get access to their system anywhere. As the Official Lighting Partner of USA Pickleball, our ZONE fixtures often include AirLink Synapse controls integrated into the fixture as well.
CONTROL OPTIONS
- Occupancy/vacancy sensing – turns lights on when occupants are in a space & off when they vacate the space
- Daylight harvesting – dims the light-level when daylight is available to light the space
- Scheduling – provides pre-programmed changes in light levels based on time of day
- Demand response – automatically reduces lighting loads during peak electricity usage times
- Plug load control – automatically turns off loads after occupants leave a space
- High-end trim – sets the maximum light level based on customer requirements in each space
- Personal dimming control – gives occupants the ability to adjust the light output to their comfort level
- HVAC integration – controls heating, ventilation & air conditioning systems through contact closure or BACnet protocol
- Energy Monitoring – within the web app identifies energy usage information to drive decision making & demonstrate savings
