Charity Golf Tournament Raises Over $36,000 For Community Programs

On August 13, golfers, sponsors and volunteers gathered at Penobscot Valley Country Club in Orono, Maine, for a day of friendly competition, familiar faces and giving back. This year marked the 21st Annual Clayton Johndro Memorial Golf Tournament, and once again, the community showed up in a big way.

Thanks to the generosity of everyone involved, this year’s tournament raised $36,250, bringing the event’s lifetime fundraising total to an incredible $490,260!

What began more than two decades ago as a way to honor Clayton Johndro’s memory has grown into a meaningful tradition, bringing the community together year after year. More importantly, the tournament continues to make a lasting difference by supporting Three Rivers Kiwanis and the valuable programs it provides throughout the greater Milo area.
