After years of dedication and steady leadership, Terry Awalt has officially retired, leaving behind a legacy of growth, resilience, and community that will be felt for years to come. While we celebrate his retirement, we’re also looking forward with excitement as our leadership team evolves to guide both JSI Store Fixtures and EMI Industries into the future.

With Terry’s retirement, we are pleased to announce the next phase of leadership for JSI and EMI. Alan Harvill, CEO of EMI, will now also serve as CEO of JSI. Alan brings proven leadership, strategic vision, and operational expertise that will help align both organizations for long-term success. At the same time, Nelson Wesley, who has been serving as President of JSI, will expand his role to also become President of EMI. Nelson’s deep understanding of our operations, customer relationships, and team culture uniquely positions him to bring consistency and momentum to both organizations.
This shared leadership structure ensures a unified vision across JSI and EMI, with coordinated strategies designed to strengthen both companies. It also provides operational consistency, with Nelson guiding the day-to-day execution that keeps both organizations moving forward. Together, Alan’s oversight as CEO and Nelson’s operational leadership as President create a dynamic partnership that sets the stage for continued growth and innovation.
Though we bid farewell to Terry, his legacy sets the foundation for this next chapter. With Alan and Nelson working together across JSI and EMI, our companies are positioned to build stronger connections, deliver greater value, and continue growing with confidence.
