For the past 17 years, JSI has raised money for the local Kiwanis chapter through the Clayton Johndro Memorial Golf Tournament to benefit local children’s programs. We are pleased to announce that in addition to exceeding last year’s total of $30,000, we’ve now reached over $320,000 in lifetime donations!
“We’re thrilled to be able to come together again this year for such a great cause,” explained Mark Awalt, President of JSI Store Fixtures. “On top of receiving our best year ever in donations at $34,480, we had players travel from Oregon, Georgia, and Alabama to play, bringing some fresh faces to our growing tournament.”
The winning team featured Leo Donahue and Ryan Sylvester from Sylvester Sheet Metal, along with JSI’s very own Aaron Awalt and Casey Keyler.
It was always the desire of Clayton and Jean Johndro to give back to the local youth, so as a tribute to them, all of the proceeds are 100% committed to assisting children through a variety of programs overseen by the Three Rivers Kiwanis.
“We can’t thank our donors enough for making this possible for 17 years running”, exclaimed Awalt. “Through their compassion and desire to improve the lives of our local youth, our community gains strength.”
